This section will show you how to add drop shadow effect to an image. We will use the following image "Sample-Photo.jpg" as example. It can be within your website or at an external folder. For this guide, we assume that it is within the website.
Select Tools -> Image Editor from the main menu.
Click on the down arrow of this button on the top left corner. Select New Image -> From Current Site. Select "Sample-Photo.jpg" from the drop down menu and press the "OK" button.
Click on this button which is in the middle of the toolbar. Select Effects -> Drop Shadow from the drop down menu to open the Drop Shadow Dialog.
By default, transparent borders will be added to the image to accommodate the drop shadow. Change the values of Distance, Softness, Opacity and Color to customize the shadow. Press the "OK" button when you are satisfied with the settings.
To save the image to the website, press the "Insert To Site" button. When asked whether to save all the layers, click "No".
Select the image type in the Insert Image Dialog. Please note that if you choose "JPG", select the option "Background color" and set the background color as "JPG" does not support translucent image. To keep the transparency of the image, save it as "PNG".
